Alicia's mind was lost. Without the concept of time she didn't know how to survive. Schedules, patterns, timelines... all of these were the framework of her life. Now timeless her mind started to wander to places unknown.
She was finally able to sleep, if you count tossing and turning for and undetermined amount of time. She tried as hard as she could to keep time but the only indicators were her hungry, need for the bathroom, and sleepiness, which was ruined by her unsuccessful nap.
The bathroom... how was she suppose to go to the bathroom... She began to shout as loud as she could for someone, anyone, to help her. No answer. She continued to pace the length of the room and counting her steps.
"10,570, 10,571, 10.572..." then she heard it, a faint, soft click. She froze. Unsure what to do next. She stared at the door and waited.
