Alicia Part 4

This room was so much smaller than the one before, almost like a crawlspace. She struggled to stand up completely so she decided to sit as she took in her new surroundings. The drip was still there. The 57 second clicks were still clicking. The walls still carpeted, the lamps still barely lit the room.

Everything seemed bite-sized. Smaller then it should be, comically small, but Alicia could not muster a laugh.

As she began to count the seconds between clicks again a memory painfully flashed in her brain. She did this to herself. She did it for money. Regardless of the outcome her family would be set for years financially.

At that moments she realized the room wasn't different. Nothing had changed, nothing of course except her size. She was growing... fast. Faster than any human should grow/ could grow.

As her mind raced hunger hit her hard. She was starving, it felt like she hadn't eaten in years. She needed to eat. As she weighed her options the answer hit her like a ton of brinks.
