Book Review: Poet Anderson … In Darkness

Updated: Oct 7, 2024

Book Review: Poet Anderson … In Darkness (Book 2) by Tom DeLonge, guitarist of Blink-182 and Angels & Airwaves, and author Suzanne Young. …In Darkness brings readers back to the Dreamscape with Poet Anderson (Jonas).

…In Darkness is darker than …Of Nightmares, with more deaths and carnage as Poet Anderson risks life and limb to find Alan and keep the Dreamscape safe from the evil REM.

Safety is harder this time around since Poet burned so many bridges in the first installment.

Even though more poets revealed themselves meaning Poet Anderson is not the last of his kind, they have been in hiding from REM and unwilling to help. Forced to make impossible decisions Poet Anderson grows into a man that has the weight of the dream world on his shoulders.

…In Darkness has Poet Anderson making huge decisions and making big moves to ensure those he loves and the waking world remain safe. The book ends leaving the reader with a want for more, and it feels like it's a possibility.
